The total population in the town of Moraga is 17,692. It covers an area of 15.2 sq. miles. The surrounding is bucolic rolling hills, Heritage oaks, and beautiful views. It’s located just south of Orinda and is connected to Lafayette via Moraga Road. You can also access Berkeley and Hwy 13 via Canyon Rd. Moraga historically was a farming community connected to the greater Bay Area via a railway stop. It is a family oriented community and holds a very good Farmer’s Market as well as a free concert series in Moraga Commons Park each summer. There is a skate park, volleyball courts, and extensive hiking trails.
